WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I was born and raised in South Africa and put on my adventurous cap and moved to New York City.
Life is good, exciting and very colorful and my quest for wellness led me into the wellness industry.
1998 I officially began my career in the wellness industry and 2000 I opened up the doors to my adorable healing wellness spa 'La Quinta Healing Arts' in La Quinta Ca. and loved the opportunity to serve the local community with excellent wellness services.
My own health concerns led me to explore yoga and then Ayurveda. These interests then led me to an Ayurvedic Training Academy in Tamil Nadu, India. where I studied Panchakarma Medicine through ISHA Yoga Center in Coimbatore India and USA. The team of seven brilliant Ayurvedic doctors opened my eyes to a whole new world and my fascination continues.
Ayurveda changed my life around and I knew I had to get out and share this with the others who are struggling with not only menopause blues but also lack of energy, weight control, skin disorders and gut issues etc.
WHAT I DO
I teach the why and how of the practices of Ayurvedic Lifestyle Habits. I teach how to add more light to the system for rejuvenation and detoxification mind and body.
I teach people how to prepare easy meals to add more light into their world.
I am currently writing a recipe book called Yogi Nosh. A book the world has been waiting for because it it simple to read, easy to follow and before you know it, your body cells will be jumping for joy by applying the simple wisdom I share in the recipe book.
